McAuley’s Women in Medicine is an academic program of McAuley High School in partnership with Mercy Hospital Mt. Airy. This four year program is open to incoming freshmen who have above average standardized test results and have excellent/very good academic grades at their grade schools.
Today they visited with Dr. Jon Mendelsohn at Advanced Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center. The students received an overview of the practice, a question/answer session with Dr. Mendlesohn and observation of a surgical procedure.
Dr. Mendelsohn is dedicated to the education of our community and took the time out of his busy schedule to teach and explain his surgical center and practice.
