Cheek Implants
THE TYPICAL PATIENT

THE PROCEDURE
- Anesthesia is a MAC, and the procedure is done in the
outpatient surgical center and is very comfortable.
- It involves a very inconspicuous well-hidden incision
high up inside the mouth, about 1-inch long.
- There are no dressings or bandages necessary
THE RECOVERY
- You can go home and resume normal activities within
days.
- You can shower on the day after surgery.
- There is only minimal pain that is mostly gone by the
next day.
- Swelling is mild to moderate and peaks at two days then
disappears rapidly over the next three weeks.
- There are no stitches to remove.
