Dr Mendelsohn is involved with the Face-to-Face Foundation which is a non-profit organization that provides surgical services to children afflicted with facial and cranial disorders.
Dr. Mendelsohn most recently returned from Linyi, China where he provided surgery to this 4-month old with a bilateral cleft lip and cleft palate.
Approximately 30 operations were performed over a 2-week period.
The group of American Facial Plastic Surgeons also provided lectures on a variety of Plastic Surgery Topics for over 200 Chinese surgeons.
