THE PROCEDURE
There is no anesthesia, surgery, incisions, pain, time
off work, or interference with your lifestyle.
For topical treatment the procedure involves the aggressive
and custom use of creams containing Retin-A, hydroquinone,
glycolic acids, and sunscreens. This is completely doctor
supervised and customized to your skin condition, lifestyle,
and how fast you want improvement.
You can do this with a mild, moderate or aggressive approach.
No time off work is necessary.
- Some redness, mild irritation, and flaking of the skin
are seen early on and last a few days to two weeks. This
is easily controlled with creams.
- Makeup can be applied immediately.
- A SPF-30 or greater sun block is required on all exposed
treatment areas.
- For IPL treatment the manufacture recommends 3 treatments
done 4 weeks apart.
- Discontinue sun tanning, use of tanning beds and self-tanning
cream 4 weeks before and throughout the treatment course.
- For IPL treatments discontinue use of exfoliating creams
such as Retin-A and other skin exfoliating products 2
weeks prior to treatment and during the course of the
treatment.
THE RESULT
- Beautifully balanced even color to the treated areas.
- Definite improvement in the texture and smoothness,
and some softening of fine wrinkle lines.
